THE LORD KNOWS

Psalm 139

In this psalm of David, we see that God knows everything about us (verses 1-6). He is always with us (verses 7-12), and He made us just the way we are (verses 13-16). Our response should be to seek His will and ask Him to examine our hearts and thoughts that He might change us and lead us in His everlasting way (verses 19-24).

Here are some prompts to help you pray through this psalm:

·      God, thank you for knowing me and making me according to Your will.

·      I praise You for being with in every place, time, and circumstance of my life. Help me always trust and rely on Your presence.

·      I confess that at times I have tried to hide from You when __________. 

·      I admit that at times I have doubted Your plan for my life when _________.

·      Search me, O God, and know my heart – examine me and know my anxious thoughts as you lead me to repentance and truth.
